Formula 1 in interesting season shock

Who'd of thunk it eh? Schumy's not winning it this year......in fact he's not won a race all year (and yes I am including the USA parade) but he's still not out of the Championship, the young Spaniard Alonso leads the way and consolidated his position after winning the French Grand Prix last weekend. We are off to Silverstone this weekend for the next round so how are we going to make some money on this then?

Well I'm not sure about individual races, to much of a lottery really.....I mean it's like gambling isn't it? Why do that when you can play the future markets and at least still have a bet alive before the first lap is over and the man you backed isn't coming out to race as his tyres aren't the right diameter or something.

Because Alonso is leading the way it also means that Renault are leading the constructors championship, rightly so but I want to oppose this, McLaren are looking stronger and Kimi only came 2nd last weekend because of an engine fault dropped him down the grid, they also have Montoya who should pick up regular points so given that they are 10 points behind at the moment I can see them pulling this back in with the 3 grand prix's this month. Ferrari are in 3rd and even though are a fair bit behind they still have the class and experience to give Renault a run for there money. Fortunately because Renault won the last GP the odds have contracted from 2.8 to 2.4 and now is the time to strike.

Recommended Bets

This bet basically lets me back both McLaren and Ferrari to pull there finger out and eek away at this lead, McLaren have been the better car in recent races and the power circuits coming up should suit there set up along with Ferrari. I'll take this price now and see what happens after Britain as I can see McLaren taking the German GP later to so we may go back in for more if the price is still here or maybe even lower
