Who says tying up your money for the next 6 months is a bad thing? Whilst most people are happy to bet early on who will win which ever sporting cup they happen to find interesting, there’s more to this betting life than that!

There's never a shortage of reality TV shows (both the Z List Celeb & No-Bodies-Wishing-They-Were-Somebody type), Gong Events and Top Summer Temperature (why?) bets about to inspire some of us to do a Deborah Harry and hold on when the tide is high (thanks to bored people who chuck crazy odds on names they’ve never heard about).

Then it's simply a matter of arbing it all back when the odds come crashing down, and making a nice return. Or riding out that £2 90-1 bet, smugly knowing you picked it back when no-one would have thought that the annoying, 18 year old, wannabe singer would have made it as the top chef in Kitchen Nightmares...

So if bets like "will Ooh-Ahh-Glenn-McGrath be the top Aussie Wicket Taker in the upcoming Ashes?" leave you cold, and you need an excuse for indulging in that dirty secret you have of watching utter crap like Big Brother or Pop Idol (ooh you like it, you know you do), then take a gander this way.
