Semi Final - Chin up.......
Just because England got knocked out does not mean that the World Cup is over for us here at CalvStar.....for me personally the QF's went exactly to plan with at least 2 games going the distance and netting me a very nice profit. So to the semi's what do we think?
I'm not going to get involved with the penalties again this time as the time to get the best return has past so what now? More close games I think and even though Germany hold home field advantage I'm not so sure they should be favourite against a progressive Italy team who look very solid at the back.....I'm tempted to go with the Italians especially as they are the underdog and Germany have lost Frings thanks to the Italian Press publishing pictures of a missed hook on an Argentine player at the end of the game.
France v Portugal......to close to call at the moment so it'll be down to finding some value, I hope France win for many reasons (not just because they knocked England out) but I'm a huge fan of Ribery and Henry and hope they can get past the Portugese who although have impressed me with there football have sickened me with there sportsmanship or complete lack of....
